Spring Nature Ninjas! 

More like winter for us again....

Our class worked very hard at earning 22 marbles. 

They could earn a marble for positive jaguar behavior and completing their homework on time as a class.

The class voted on a Stuffed Animal and Popsicle Party.

This party will be tomorrow, March 23. Students can bring one stuffed animal that fits in their backpack. 

Good work second graders!

Now we have to earn 25 marbles!

Don't forget to wear green tomorrow for St. Patrick's Day!

Read Across America is this Friday, March 2!

Today during our all school Jaguar Jumpstart Meeting, the second graders gave examples of cooperation at school. Nice work Emily and Joey! They read about hallway cooperation in front of the entire school!

Also, this week and next week our class is saying the Pledge before school. Here were our Pledge students today at Jaguar Jumpstart.

Please make sure your child is on time to school for their Pledge day. 

Reminders:

Monday, February 5 we will be on a field trip in the afternoon. Please send your child with a cold lunch since we are leaving earlier than our lunch time. They may get milk if they want.

Monday, February 5 is also Jump Rope for Heart! If your child signed up they will be staying after school for the event. They may bring clothes to change into after school if desired. I will be sure to get them into the gym into their teams. 

Hannah was our December Positive Jaguar of the Month for 2nd grade!

As her reward, she chose to help a staff member during the day.
